This weeks stat round up has a few changes, some due to actual games and some do to corrections withing flattrackstats.com itself.
With its win over Roller Derby Quebec, Maine Roller Derby gains a modest 3.8 points. In the WFTDA standings it looks as if they may end up losing a few points. This is due to the margin of victory. We’ll wait until the WFTDA standings come out before digging in to that.
MRD’s ‘Old Port Brigade’ have a win on the books that has yet to be updated on flat track stats. As a result, its position could actually be 4th rather than 5th. Those scores should be incoming.
While there are only a few changes this week next week will likely be another story altogether.
Central Maine Roller Derby heads south to take on Pioneer Valley Roller Derby in Massachusetts.
Maine Roller Derby heads to Charlotte NC, to face off with Charlotte Roller Girls. Following that, they will play Columbia QuadSquad Roller girls.
May 6th, 7th and 8th will see the second annual “Coastal Chaos” tournament held in Rockport. (More information below) This even, sponsored by the Rock Coast Rollers will see 8 teams take part in a WFTDA sanctioned three day tournament. Both RCR and BRD A will be taking part and will play at least 3 games a piece. This will also mark Bangor Roller Derby’s first WFTDA sanctioned games. This should put them on the national rankings as of June.
